About Me

I am a sociology Ph.D. and statistics MS graduate student at Northwestern.

My research is motivated by contemporary social problems. I am interested in thinking through them––how to conceptualize them, what causes them, and what are their consequences.

You can find more detailed information about my research, methods, and teaching on this website. You can also find my CV and contact information.

I am currently affiliated with the International Studies Program as a Global Café Mentor and with the Center for Legal Studies as a Graduate Fellow in Legal Studies. Previously, I served as the coordinator for the Comparative and Historical Social Sciences workshop and worked as a teaching assistant for the Center for Legal Studies.

In my free time, I love trying new restaurants, running, going to the ballet, and cooking biscuits and gravy. I’m happy to share my list of restaurants in Chicago!
